The Conference on Pensions, Insurance and Savings, organized by Najat El Mekkaoui (Université Paris-Dauphine, PSL, Economics Department LEDA-DIAL) since 2003. It focuses on exploring policies, models and methodologies for effectively mobilizing savings, investing pension assets, and managing retirement funds. This interdisciplinary conference addresses the challenges posed by demographic trends and old-age dependency risks, while also examining the broader context of global challenges like energy transition, digitalization etc. It emphasizes the development of tools, policies and strategies for better managing financial and non-financial risks of the demographic transition. By bringing together a diverse range of participants including researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers, the conference fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange at the intersection of finance, inssurance, economics, and social policy.
