International Pension Workshop
International Workshop on Pensions, Insurance and Savings The workshop on “Pension, Insurance and Savings” has been organized in Paris-Dauphine University since 2003. This Workshop is dedicated to models and methods that explain/develop different ways to mobilize savings, to invest pension assets, to finance and manage retirement regarding demographic trends, old-age dependency risks and other tools helping a better management of financial and non-financial risks. Co-organized in 2012 with NETSPAR, in 2013 with the Pension Institute and in 2014 with Harvard University. The 2015 event is organized at Paris-Dauphine University with the collaboration of Larry W. Beeferman, director of Pensions and Capital Stewardship Project, Labor and Worklife Program at Harvard Law School, Harvard University.
International Conference on Pensions, Insurance and Savings
The conference “Pension, Insurance and Savings” has been organized in Paris-Dauphine University since 2003. This conference is dedicated to models and methods that explain/develop different ways to mobilize savings, to invest pension assets, to finance and manage retirement regarding demographic trends, old-age dependency risks and other tools helping a better management of financial and non-financial risks.
The 2012 edition was co-organized with NETSPAR, The 2013 with David Blake, director of the Pension Institute and the 2014 edition was organized with Larry W. Beeferman at Harvard University.
The 2015 event was co-organized with Harvard University at Paris-Dauphine University with the collaboration of Larry W. Beeferman, director of Pensions and Capital Stewardship Project, Labor and Worklife Program at Harvard Law School.
The 2016 event was co-organized with University of California at Berkeley, with the collaboration of Ronald Lee, Associate Director of Center on the Economics and Demography of Aging.
The 2017 edition is a co-organized with The Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, University of Oxford with the collaboration of Gordon Clark, the director of the Smith school.
The workshop brought together multidisciplinary academics, policy makers and practitioners (pension funds, insurances companies, banks and assets managers).
Around 100 people assist in this event with OECD delegates from different countries all over the world.
The 2018th edition was organized in partnership with Nova University, hosted in Nova University, on April 23rd and 24th in Lisbon, Portugal.
The 17th edition of the conference took place in Paris-Dauphine university in 2019.
The 18th edition of the conference, is organized in partnership with International University of Rabat (UIR), Paris School of Economics (PSE), Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA), Nova University and Singapore Management University, this edition is hosted by UIR in Rabat, Morocco.
High scientific level contributions are presented in the plenary and parallel sessions, with French and international researchers reporting on them, followed by debates. This approach allows, pushing forward research agenda regarding these major topics.
